Our Etsy shop is now closed for the forseeable future.
Too be quite honest we found that the only way to sell on Etsy
was by continually relisting items to prevent them from becoming buried
under hundreds of other listings. It became a bit of a pain not to mention an expense even
though it doesn't cost much to list.
But the biggest pain was when people "purchased" an item and never paid for it.
Etsy automatically classes this as a sale and commission is charged they are very good
about cancelling the sale and commission but again it's a pain causing a lot of
unnecessary work for the seller and of course the "sold" item (that hasn't really sold at all)
isn't available for sale in the shop....
