Everyone is invited to Mum's Virtual Tea Party on Sunday 27th October hosted by
Mum's Simply Living Blog, you don't have to have a blog, more details
here.
I love a good tea party don't you? One with lots of sandwiches and cake and pots and pots of tea.

Anyone care for a cup of tea?

Milk?

Sugar, one lump or two?

And how about a little something to nibble upon?
I' rather fond of Tunnock Teacakes, how about you?
Now how do you eat your teacake? I smash the top and eat the chocolate first, then the fluffy bit in the middle, lick the jam and finally eat the biscuit. Now have I got room for a sandwich?

Hello Gladys
ReplyDeleteOoh you managed to get outside in the sunshine - I hoped to but it rained and we had to set up on the deck instead.
I love sandwiches with no crusts - what fillings did you use? I'll have tea please, white no sugar and could I have the first one out of the pot as I don't like it strong
Take care
Cathy
My grandmother served a really good afternoon tea so I shall enjoy yours today.
ReplyDeleteReally enjoyed reading your Halloween facts over a cuppa & slice of Battenburg, thank you.
Strong black tea please, may I be greedy and have a sandw Pamich and an iced fancy, I can not remember the last time I had one. I will pass on the tea cake thank you, I like all the separate parts but not together.
ReplyDeleteHi Gladys, that is a lovely spread. May I have a French fancy with a cup of tea, no sugar or milk please.
ReplyDeleteThank you for having me

Hello Gladys
ReplyDeleteNice to meet you :-)
I think I could manage a little choc teacake and I eat them like Mum does by smashing the top mmmm..... its ages since I have had one as you can't always buy them here.
I'll be brewing a fresh pot of hot chocolate after lunch if you's like to pop over :-)
keep well
Amanda :-)
What a lovely tea! I'll have a nice cup of tea with milk only, pretty please, and one of those pretty pink confections. Mmmmmmm. Have a wonderful day. xxoo JO

Did I spy Battenberg? I used to love it, but I haven't eaten anything sweet for over 40 years. Maybe I should start again.
